Narcotic – a drug (such as opium or morphine) that in moderate doses dulls the senses, relieves pain, and induces profound sleep but in excessive doses causes stupor, coma, or convulsions
I have yet to hear of CBD causing these issues in excessive doses. And for the tyrants in Italy to not only lock down their country a few hours ago and continue to destroy themselves economically, they are removing a potent anti-oxidant from their arsenal. Why is that important?
Many experts have discovered that CV-19 causes a cytokine storm that can be one of the causes of respiratory issues.
According to Cancer.gov, a cytokine storm is: A severe immune reaction in which the body releases too many cytokines into the blood too quickly. Cytokines play an important role in normal immune responses, but having a large amount of them released in the body all at once can be harmful. A cytokine storm can occur as a result of an infection, autoimmune condition, or other disease. It may also occur after treatment with some types of immunotherapy. Signs and symptoms include high fever, inflammation (redness and swelling), and severe fatigue and nausea. Sometimes, a cytokine storm may be severe or life threatening and lead to multiple organ failure. Also called hypercytokinemia.
Wikipedia defines it as: A cytokine storm, also called hypercytokinemia, is a physiological reaction in humans and other animals in which the innate immune system causes an uncontrolled and excessive release of pro-inflammatory signaling molecules called cytokines. Normally, cytokines are part of the body’s immune response to infection, but their sudden release in large quantities can cause multisystem organ failure and death.
Long story short, inflammation is causing oxidative stress, and/or vice versa, and since CBD is patented as an anti-oxidant by the NIH, it seems that Italy is moving in favor of multinational pHarmaceutical corporations with this move against the people of their country.
Hearts and prayers are with y’all during this time of tyranny and trial.
CBD has been classified as a narcotic in Italy, with officials simultaneously banning the compound from the Italian market. Under a recent decree issued by the Ministry of Health, CBD was officially added to the country’s list of medicines; a separate order from Italy’s Customs and Monopoly Agency, which quickly followed, warned retailers “not to hold and sell . . . inflorescences (flowers), oils and resins or other products containing substances derived from hemp sativa.” Published in Italy’s Official Gazette, the decree adds CBD to the country’s table of medicines as “compositions for oral administration of cannabidiol (CBD) obtained from cannabis extracts.” “This decree specifies that CBD for oral use extracted from cannabis is in the drug table and can only be produced with the authorization of AIFA (the Italian Medicines Agency),” Giacomo Bulleri, a lawyer who analyzes the Italian cannabis sector and serves as a board member at […]
