Being that I'm in Texas, I had to travel to Washington State where one of our owners lives to test the High CBD-Low THC strain of marijuana. However, since CBD Rich Hemp oil is legal in all of the United States, I take it almost daily to help with my back pain. For point of reference, I take Earth Science Technologies CBD Hemp Oil found by clicking this link.
Now, for the High CBD-Low THC Strain of marijuana, it was in the form of an edible and the strain was a sativa. While not wanting to get into the nitty gritty differences between Sativa and Indica strains, I think its necessary to point out that Sativa strains like the one I took are generally considered an "upper" while Indica strains are more of a "downer". The edible I had was a lollipop that was labeled to have 15mg of CBD and 10mg of THC. 15mg of CBD is a little less than I normally take, but still sufficient.
Now, again, for point of reference, the CBD Hemp Oil I take daily generally makes pain go away fairly quickly, leaves me with a sense of general calmness and well-being and I usually sleep very, very well. That's it. Those are the only effects I notice and they are all desirable for me. Obviously, these are MY experiences and per the FDA, I can't say you will or won't feel the same. So, do with this info what you will.
Now, for the High CBD-Low THC Strain of marijuana, I was surprised at how 'high' I got. Now, I have been high many many many many....okay, you get the idea.... So, I'm qualified to rate how 'high' I was. I certainly was not stoned and on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say I probably rated a 2 or 3 in terms of how high I was. But, for a "Low THC" strain, I was very surprised. So, in addition to being a "little high", here were the effects I felt: pain gone fairly quickly, some giggling, munchies toward the end, the 'high' I talked about, then a feeling of grogginess towards the end with a very heavy sleep that night.
So, certainly not a bad experience. However, I'm 48 years old and have grown past the point of wanting to be high all the time. So, for me, maybe a few times a year this would be a good experience. But, for a daily use sort of thing, I have to stick with CBD Hemp Oil. It takes away my pain, helps me sleep and makes me calm. That's about it.
