When I first came across a viral 3-ingredient protein pudding recipe on social media, I was intrigued but skeptical. Scrambled eggs, protein powder, and almond milk—blended and chilled? It sounded like it could easily turn into a texture disaster.
But as someone who constantly looks for clean, high-protein recipes to fuel recovery and manage evening stress, I couldn’t resist trying it with my own twist. I decided to blend in a daily dose of unflavored CBD oil tincture to create the ultimate nighttime recovery snack.
The result? A rich, velvety, custard-like pudding packing 74 grams of protein. Here is how I made it, what I learned, and the full adjusted recipe.

1.Scramble the Eggs: Do not overcook them into dry rubber.
Lightly coat a pan and scramble the 4 eggs over medium heat just until they are fully cooked but still soft. Remove them from the heat and let them cool for just a minute.
2.Add Ingredients to High-Speed Blender: Order matters for a smooth blend.
Pour the almond milk into the blender first. Add the warm scrambled eggs, followed by your 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder and your measured dose of CBD oil tincture. Adding liquids first prevents the powder from sticking to the blades.
3.Blend Until Silky Smooth:
Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds. You want to make sure the scrambled eggs are completely pureed and the mixture is totally smooth and fully emulsified.
4.Transfer & Chill:
Pour the liquid mixture into a glass bowl, jar, or airtight meal-prep container. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (or overnight). As it cools, the egg proteins will set it into a thick pudding.
5.Serve & Enjoy:
Once set, grab a spoon and enjoy straight from the fridge! Optional: top with a dash of cinnamon, fresh berries, or a sprinkle of cacao nibs.
